📋 12.1. Assets Overview
Displayed Data:
| Field | Description |

| ID (#) | Unique identifier for each asset. |
| Code | System-generated or manually assigned asset code. |
| Name | Title or description of the asset. |
| Status | Availability status (Available, In Maintenance). |
| Actions | Options for managing the asset. |
🔍 12.2. Features & Functionality
- Search Functionality → Search assets by name or asset code.
- Status Filter → Filter assets by availability status.
- Pagination → Enables navigation through multiple asset records.
🔄 12.3. Asset Status Management
Status Types:
- Available → The asset is ready for use.
- In Maintenance → The asset is under maintenance and not available.
Actions Menu:
- Edit → Modify asset details (name, code).
- Delete → Remove the asset from the system permanently.
- Set to Maintenance → Mark an asset as In Maintenance if it is being repaired or temporarily unavailable.
➕ 12.4. Adding a New Asset
Process:
- Click the "Add New" button to open the creation form.
- Enter the following details:
- Asset Name
- Asset Code (optional)
- Click Save to add the asset or Cancel to discard changes.
🔗 12.5. Interconnection & Functionality
- Assets are linked to users and assigned based on availability.
- Asset status updates ensure that unavailable or damaged assets are properly tracked.
- Reports provide admins with insights into asset usage and condition.
